I attended a Wedding in the Galway Bay on Friday, last the 27th
March 2008 (Wedding of Roisin
Cooney & Darren McDermott)
I'm from Sligo and have being at a few Weddings in my time but never heard
anything like Face Value, all I can say is out of this world, the range of
songs, the lenght of time ye played for and the
most important the crowd never got a chance to sit down as it was one good
song after another.
By any chance you couldnt but your DVD or CD in
the post to me please, dying to let people know about ye!

You played at our wedding on 1st October 2005 in the Sligo Park Hotel and I

Dear John,
Thank you and "Face Value" so
much for such a wonderful performance at our wedding on the 11th June 2005.
You really got the party going, we have had so many compliments about you,
both on the night and since we got back from honeymoon, you really did a
tremendous job, thank you!
The whole day was wonderful, we were so
lucky with everything, the weather and all the people working on the day
did a great job, we were so well looked
after. Sorry we had to cut things a bit short on the night, given the
fabulous weather we had on the day, the pictures took a lot longer than
expected and we were quite late getting started.
It all went so quickly, it's hard to
believe it is all over now....we'll have to think of an excuse to have
another party :-) If we do we will certainly call on you again, I
will be recommending Face Value to all my friends, I
am in no doubt that we will see you again in the not too distant future.

We just wanted to publicly display our thanks and appreciation to Face
Value for being the making of the biggest day of our lives. before the first dance was over, people were literally
queuing up to get out on the floor and the floor was full by the second
dance. It stayed that way all night with people dancing in between
(thankfully not on!) the tables. I had seen Face Value play several times
before our own wedding and can see that they have something really special
that brings young and old to life everytime
without fail. To say that the feedback we received about the band from all
of our wedding guests was positive is an understatement. I know two other
couples who have booked the band after hearing them at our wedding so that
speaks for itself.

Just a quick email to thank you and the band for a great
performance at our wedding in the Golf & Country Club in
Oranmore on the 2nd of May 2003. A full dance floor is always
a good indication of a good band and I seem to remember
plenty of bodies flying around..!!
